Thank you for your interest in Kansas Whitetail Properties, the nation’s best kept secret in trophy whitetail deer hunting. Over the last 20 years, I have deer hunted Canada, Old Mexico, all of the Southeast states, Virginia, North and South Dakota, Illinois, Iowa and the famed South Texas brush country. Six years ago I ventured to Southwest Kansas. There in the western edge of America’s farm belt is about 1,600 square miles of the best trophy whitetail hunting in the Midwest.

As a sales professional working 70 hours a week, I only have a week to travel and hunt each year. I chose Southwest Kansas as my yearly deer hunting trip. Going unguided, the first 2 years I harvested 2 bucks with a bow on the ground scoring 168 and 163 B & C. The past 3 years I harvested 3 B&C gross bucks with black powder scoring 187, 172 and 170 B & C. I am just an “Average Joe” deer hunter. If you had been there, you would have been able to do the same.

This past November an outfitter in Southwest Kansas had seven guys in camp for five days bow hunting. They were 100% successful on bucks scoring 136, 144, 149, 155, 158, 164 & 176 B&C. Success like that goes unmatched anywhere in North America for wild free ranging deer. Each year, companies such as Realtree, Primos, Bass Pro Television, Stongbuilt’s Inside The World Of Hunting, Tecomate and Knight & Hale are under pressure to produce quality hunting shows and videos. These guys are professionals at capturing big whitetails on camera as their living. They probably do not realize it, but they all make shows within 30 miles of each other in Southwest Kansas. These guys have taken take over 30 bucks on their shows that score over 140 B&C in the last four years. All of these were taken within 15 miles of the properties that Kansas Whitetail Properties are representing.

This past season, I had the privilege of Gordon Whittington from North American Whitetail hunt with us. He shot an old warhorse buck that had eluded us for years. There is just no place like Southwest Kansas!
